i picked up a new front axle off of cl today on 200 for the whole front axle assembly. its from a 95 1500, i know with my 98 i can pull the axleshaft and hub out as an assy. but i tried to do this with the donor axles and the hubs wont budge even a little bit, is there a defference between the 98 and 95 d44?

 

Not where you are playing. Should come out the same way. Probably just the hub/bearing assembly really doesn't wanna let go of the knuckle.

but there were some small changes here and there till the 99 -01 models which are very different

Just compare BOM on axle to see if the parts are identical or not

The hub was just siezed to the knuckle, a couple of good wacks from a small sledge had it in no time lol. Now shes sittin pretty with a set of axle shafts for the first time in forever
