I have recently bought myself a 97 Ram 1500 4x4 5.9L V8, and since i can remember i always hear people talking about wanting to do donuts in the middle of one of the main roads in town, and i am wanting to do it because all people do is talk about wanting to do it but afraid of getting caught, so i have organized a couple of my friends to be "look outs" for the police or on coming cars so i can pull it off and show everyone that trucks do have power besides off-road, i was wondering before i go and do this does my truck have enough power to do donuts on dry pavement?, or should i put water on my tires before trying, but can it do it, before i try and make myself look stupid, please help thanks

i dont know about yours but Ive burned up my tires a few times. then again a have roll control on my truck that lets me lock my front wheels.
