Default Finally got the 3" lift on....

After months of going back and forth with a ****ty ebay seller who drop ships from Rough Country... I ended up completing the transaction with the VP OF SALES of RC (hows that for GREAT customer service!!) even though they hadn't even SEEN teh payment from him yet.... the toolbox had originally sent me a 2wd kit, not RC's fault, the PO said 2wd.....so, I get my 3" kit in... waslike, umm WOW<thoselook like deisel springs, (VERY thick and big)... I held off putting them onlast weekend because I knew that mid week the following week, I'd have a lift and bodyshop available to do it in.... well, for being a 98..... not 1 SINGLE issue from rust....everything came apart easily.....even the sprare tire spun down on the bed winch easily by hand (to make shock access easier)....the only thing I DIDN'T like was the bracket to relocate the trackbar,it works great....I just think a new trackbar should be an option for the kit
Anywayz..... I was running 285/75r16's (33x11.50's) before the lift and wont up to 35's until these are dead (they are only 1000 miles old)... so I finally got a truck where at 6'5" I have to get up into it..

I agree nice job.

The 35's would add to the looks though.

Now before you lifted it did you have a block on the rear axle?

What did you do to give it the lift in the rear?

Anyway you could shoot a few pictures of the new parts you put in.

I plan to lift mine in the front and add some lift in the rear. Just not sure what I want to do yet.

thx

I have the same color truck and I just love it.

Great job!

It had a 3" block, which you REALLY should keep due to it have teh bumpstops built in..and it added about a 2" block to it. I hate to stack blocks, but, they seem to say its ok, and when I get some extra cash... 5.5" block are only $60......
I will do pics in a few days or so...gotta make use of a camera with charged batteries again
