Default 5.9L and V10 Compatibility

Hey,

I'm rebuilding a V10 and looking to beef it up but the machine shop that is doing the tooling has been unable to find parts (such as connecting rods, pistons, etc) through his line of distributers. I was my understanding the that the V10 is based on the 360 with an additional 2 cylinders (and a different oiling system), but the valve train appears the same.

So can anyone confirm that the rods and flat tops found for a 360 work with the V10?

Thanks,

Summit racing seems to have a fair selection, I would imagine jegs would as well. I have no clue what parts were interchangeable between the 360, and the V-10.

The oil cap on the valve cover seems to fit very well...
But to the OP I'm not sure if any other parts are interchangeable
