i know another exhaust thread but hey i searched for my question and came up with no results. so here it is. i want to put true duals on my 97 sst now cant figure out what kind of cats i need is there a certain one that i should use i know this sounds dumb but have you searched for cats on the internet brings up a wholeee bunch of stuff. and do i even need cats? ive heard of people hollowing out theres so what would the need be?

 

If you are in a state that needs smog checks then you need them, if no then you really don't, but you need to get a O2 remover set up there are different items and ways to do this, just search this site and google for products and how to's.
