platinum gasket

aim4squirells knows all about it and is a great contributor to this forum! He was just having a little fun with how you worded it, I'm sure it was supposed to be all in good fun.
Your gasket is probably fine, but from my time on this forum, which hasn't been that long, it is never a bad idea to do the hughes plenum fix.

I may have been a little hard hard on him, and if it was a joke then my apology to him, but when i ask a question, i dont want bs, i want an answer like you gave me.

lol didnt even realize i misspelled it.
reggie220- I dont go through any oil really, i guess i will look through the tb tomorrow. if there is no oil than chances are mine is fine? or is there other stuff to check? thanks bud!
aim4squirells- dodge used metal gaskets with aluminum intakes, because of the difference in expansion and contraction the gaskets start to leak, from what i read that and the ****ty cats is was brought on the "deathflash". since your info says you have 6642 posts you should have known exactly what i was talking about like reggie220 did, so dont be a ****, its ******** like you why people go to other forums. and if you think its a joke, it takes one click of a mouse button to go back a page, guess thats a little to hard for you.

i suggest you make an attempt at an apology, it was YOUR ERROR and you did post the SAME thread TWICE!
he was joking, pulling your leg, just joshing... get your emotions in order and learn to laugh at yourself!
EDIT: good deal bud, lets start over. WELCOME TO DF!

Since you have ONLY 36 post, let me be the first to tell you that the attitude your displaying will get you ignored... QUICKLY!!! When you post on this forum, try and have a little more respect for people. Especially AIMS. He's a great member in good standing and is a wealth of information. To be blunt, when I read your post, I thought it was a joke as well because none of it made sense.
matty- i understand you getting pissed off, i read your entire 408 thread (which is turning out bad *** keep up the good work), on one of your first posts you asked if you should go through the engine first, correct me if i wrong, but to me it was obvious you did not know. not trying to be a dick so dont think i am, coming from a mechanic background unless its from the box you should always check out the internals, how would you have felt if someone asked if it was a joke? i have just gotten tired of the bs reading threads when someone of little experience asks a question, and a guy with mass amounts of experience trashes or talks **** about the question. correct me if im wrong but isnt a forum for people who don't understand or need assistance to get it from a person with lots of experience.
it wasn't so much his post, im more pissed off that i bought a nice condition truck before i did real research. i had a Cummins for about 2 years and couldn't be more impressed with dodge, that's why i chose to buy the one i have now and only to be mostly dissatisfied with this truck. I let that get to me when i read his post and replied in an unprofessional manner. which i do apologize for.
now that i got everyone's attention in the wrong way lol. is the m-1 manifold the best legal intake for my 360? or can i use an edelbrock performer as long as it has all the assessories transferred over?

I'm glad you put it to bed. Now back to your question. If, by edlebrock you mean the Hughes Air Gap FI intake, then yes you can use that on your rig. The M1, by my understanding, is aimed more to the performance engines. Like Matty's 408 he's building. You'd be better off either getting the Air Gap or just doing the kegger mod to your current kegger when you go to repair your plenum. Hope that answered your question.
