Cool. I know a lot of guys who have large halogens or small HID's for backing up.

I did the same some time back. Mine can swivel 180 degrees so I can point them in any direction I need to. In addition to being good for night time trailer hookups, they are also great for when you need emergency light under your truck. I used them one night coming back from elk hunting when a kicked up rock on a back country road broke my abs sensor. Made seeing what was going on super easy.

Dude, tighten up that spare tire.

I did the same thing on mine too but I put skid plates on them to block the water when driving in the rain and to keep them from getting ripped off.

This is a very simple and well implemented solution. Very nicely done.

If I were you I would get a used tire that matches to put on that rim.
Does it even fit if you tighten it up though? My 265/70/16 spare barely fits between the hitch and the exhaust.

For the wiring you could get some zip ties and some liquid electric tape and that will clean them up enough to not get snagged by something.
The liquid electric tape would be for the butt connectors to keep the water out.

Ya, another guy on here (padodgeram) did that to his truck, and I liked it so much I copied him. I replaced the stock bolts with stainless allen head bolts. They are 5/16-18 x 3/4, with a locking washer. I think it makes the stock cover just look a little nicer.
