my hood insulation hangs down would it be a big deal if i just took in out? Cause i am wanting to put a cold air intake on my truck and i know i cant have that laying on it

Not that big of a deal to tear it out. A lot of people who go off roading tear it out. It's put there just in case there's a fir in the engine bay, that insulation can come down and smother it.

Mine came from the factory with out it. You'll be fine to tear it out.
