ok so im gonna get sct tune very soon. Iv been reading than peoples trannys have been slipping from first to second at wot. My tranny was rebuilt about 1000 miles ago so will this happen to me? Also a couple times during the summer ill be drag racing on a 300ft sand track in 4x4 low. Am i gonna have any problems, from the tuner running at wot? thanks

 

4x4 low? I hope you mean 4x4 high. 4x4 low can't take very many MPH/RPM, not designed to.

The tuner won't cause any problems with your transmission. If it happens, the problems were already there, the tuner should made them more pronounced so that you'd feel them.

 

yea 4x4 low. its 300ft, iv done it for the past couple of years in low and i havent broke anything.

 

ya sct helps the tranny more smoother and tighter shift which is less stress on tranny . surprised you didnt get one yet lol people need to get the arz in gear and get the sct you dunno what your missing ,best mod to start with with our trucks !

 

Where do you get a sct tuner from? How much are they?

 

PM Hemifever, right here on this website, or, go to his website. Hemifever tuning something or other. They run 265 for 'canned tunes', (these are for trucks with just bolt ons), or 365 for custom tunes. (if you have a cam, heads, etc.)
