Default Can i swap a 96 dodge ram dash with a 1999

I have a really bad destroyed dash in my 1996 dodge ram.

my uncle just totalled his 1999 dodge ram.

is it possible i could use his dash to replace mine?

i know one is digital and one is not.

Welcome to DF.

Its not really possible without doing a lot of custom wiring, maybe even some other interior changes to make it fit properly.

I will move this to the 2nd gen Ram section (1994-2001 Rams) for you.

A lot changed between years there. You might be able to do it, if you use the wiring, and instrument cluster from the 96.... don't know....

Probably not, as the instrument clusters are quite different.

Doesn't the 99 have a passenger air bag as well? I know the 96 didn't

Yes, it does indeed. Good Point. Wouldn't have to be hooked up I suppose...
