Default Water Pump - Did I Buy the Wrong One?

I purchased a Gates water pump from RockAuto. Is this the correct one? The reason I'm asking is because there are no threads on the pulley to be able to screw on the fan, like the old one. Here is the link: http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/moreinfo.php?pk=948913

It is Gates # 43034

The Gates 43034 the same one as my NAPA 43034 one. Mine has threads for the fan, the one in the picture has threads for the fan...What gives?

From what i can tell from the linked site; it appears to be the correct one (I think I can make out threads on the pulley in the pic). It's possible they sent you the wrong part. Try uploading a pic of the one they sent you, it will give you a more definitive answer.

Send it back, either they sent the wrong one, or you ordered the wrong one. Do a little investigating first though; if you can put the blame on them (i.e. PROVE they f'ed up), you might be able to get them to refund the shipping (possibly more, depends on their policy). Check the box, body of the WP, or anywhere you think there might be a part number, and then your receipt. If the number on your receipt is different than what is on the box, you got 'em by the *****.

I will have to send it back. I looked at the picture again, and it's hard to tell if there are threads. The number on the box is the same as what I ordered. Anyway, it doesn't make any difference, because there are positively no threads to screw the fan on. I will send it back. Thanks.

I know this is off topic, but what is the best way to hold the harmonic balancer in place while trying the tighten the bolt to 135 ft. lbs. I shoved a pry bar in there but that is not working out very well. I'm scarred I'm going to crack the timing cover case that its pressing against. Just how much force is 135 ft. lbs. anyways? I have pulled and pushed pretty hard and still no click from the wrench.
