MY tach does not work, all other gauges work fine. know pretty much nothing about the computer controlled vehicles since i like carbs :/ so what all makes your tach work on these trucks? 1997 dodge ram 1500 318

 

go up to your coil and see if the tach is pluged in, if so flow the wires out to see if there is a porblem

 

thanks, figured it was around there, just didnt feel like endlessly searching for something im not even familiar with.

so all it is a wire then? from coil to tach? or does the wire go to a computer or something of that nature?
