Default Brake line fittings

Does anyone know what size the fittings are on the line that runs to the rear brakes? I bought lines from auto zone and the fittings are wrong. Its like the threads arent long enough.

I haven't had to do this particular fix yet, as the previous owner seems to have dealt with it.... (although, he did a crummy job. which fits all his other 'repairs'...

Might be the difference between standard, and metric fittings, or, you just aren't quite getting them aligned right. They can be a serious pain.

If you have the old flare nuts yet, take those into the parts store with you, they can gauge the threads, and get you the right lines.
