hello again, yesterday mourning we got about 18 to 22 inches of snow overnight and my truck handled it like a champ but thats not the problem the problem is that today I noticed that the truck doesnt seem to have overdrive but i checked the trans fluid and it was good and didnt smell burnt also it shifted fine in every other gear, so my question is could it be an electrical connection or maybe snow got somewhere it wasnt supposed to be, or is my tranny smoked?(hope not!) any help is greatly appreciated.thanks
What are the temps outside? If it is too cold outside and the trans fluid is too cold, the PCM prevents the trans from shifting into OD. That is normal.

Yep. Mine does the same thing, after about 10 mins of driving it'll kick into O/D. I still have the problem where I can't turn it off with the switch, lol.
