Default Lift Opinions

So I'm going to get a 5 inch Rough Country lift for my truck and was really curious if I would need to get new rims. All of my Mopar buddies say that I should be able to keep the stock rims, but I might want to get 2 inch spacers for them to be safe.

I want to keep the stock rims and I don't have the money for new rims. I currently have 315/75/16's, and the do rub. But like I said, my friends say I should be fine.

Opinions?

Save your money until you can buy a good lift and new wheels. A couple hundered dollars saved isnt worth your life (spacers are no good on a truck).

Yeah, I was worried about spacers too. I'm hoping to get the lift with income taxes, then save up a couple hundred for some wider rims with some backspace. I guess I really like the stock look though haha.

Don't need new rims for a lift. If you go to significantly wider tires though, then you would need wider rims.
