3/4 ton springs

I was just wondering if someone could tell me what you have to change in the steering etc to put 3/4 ton springs in a 1/2 ton. I carry a boss plow in the winter, and i would like it to bottom out alittle less and just carry the blade better than it does now. thanks

i have diesel springs on my truck for plowing, and i didnt have to change anything. i recommend an alignment afterwards, but other than that you dont have to do anything.

ok cool thanks. i wasn't sure if i would. i didn't think i had to but i wanted to make sure. i am guessing i should probably change the leafs too huh?

no need to. the diesel springs will level the truck out, however i didnt like this look so i installed a 2" hd add a leaf from skyjacker.
