Default Seat Bracket

I am having trouble trying to remove my passenger seat bracket. The seat is out as well of the rest of the interior. There is a black plastic peice that has a bolt and screw in it and I can't seem to figure out how to remove the bracket from the floor. I can't get to the bolt or screw so anyone got any suggestions on how to remove this bracket. Its a 1996 Dodge Ram 1500 Extended Cab 4x2 318c.i. 5.2L

Bolt is under the cover. Can you move the seat one direction or the other so you can get at it?

Yea I can move the bracket around but can not get access to the bolt. The bracket that was closest tot the door, I got it off by bending it down outside the door, but the other one is imposible to bend like that because it is in just about the center of the truck. I'm going to take the heat sheild off under the cab that is above the exhaust, maybe there is a nut or something. I would post a pic but I just joined this morning and don't know how, lol.

Slide the rail forward. Just tug on the release, and if it doesn't move on its own, give it a push. That should give you access to the cover, and the bolt under it.

Yea i'm going to try that now. Wasn't nothing under the heat sheild except a thick rubber peice which dosent come off. I'm going to have to grease the rails first because the truck been sittin so long its jammed or something.

Broke out the grease gun and greased it up, got it to slide back so I was able to get to the retaing bolts (well actually it was two phillip head screws, lol). Thank you for your knowledge, I've done been messing with it for two days and your input worked and saved me a headache.
