Last summer I installed a 5" Rough Country X-Series lift on my 98 1/2 ton 4x4. It costed $950 from Rough Country's website, and took almost a day to install along with a set of Energy Suspension poly bushings for the leaf springs. It uses adjustable upper and lower control arms, front springs, blocks for the rear, and quick disconnect links for the sway bar. Those parts are good. They work fine, and the truck handles well on and off road. I don't know about the standard shocks, but the nitrogen charged shocks are very stiff. I threw them away and replaced them with Rancho 9000XLs. It's a good lift, and much less expensive than other lifts of their height. I clear my 35x13s mounted on 16x10 wheels with a little rubbing of the side ***** (agressive mud tires) on the lower control arms when I tuck a wheel. I just thought I'ld share my experience, good luck.

Fabtech 5.5in. Perfect for 35s. Also its a long arm kit. little more exspensive and a little more work to put on but worth it in the end. I got my lift for $1200 but it was at the jamboree in Indy. and on sale.
