Default 95 Kegger Mod

I picked up a spare intake off of a 94 dodge 360 and the hughes plenum plate kit with gaskets.
After all the reading I have done on this site, especially silver_dodge and vwanddodge DIY, I am going to get the intake hot tank and cut out the runners and center divider. My question is what is that piece on the right side of the intake? Silver_dodge doesn't have that in his pictures on his DIY. Can I cut that out? I have a 95 with the EGR and I want to do this when the weather gets warmer.

That's the EGR passage. You can remove it with no drawbacks. You could even disable the EGR system altogether, by removing the valve on the back of the manifold, and installing a block off plate.

Copy that on the PITA!
If I hear you correctly, then I can use any other kegger, if the machine shop wants too much to take it out the center divider.

Thanks for the help and I'll keep the pics coming in a few weeks.

,,, you still need to have the vac lines conected to the vavle and i would be better to have the egr sitting in the intake man that hanging out floating a around if you were to put a noegr intake on... egr not hooked up u will get a code

i just took a sawz with a long blade and cut peices out then tap with a hammer done deal for the center diiver

Cut around the EGR valve so I don't get a code and I should be able to do that with my sawzall and a hammer.

Thanks!

The sawzall is a fine idea. Works great.

You CANNOT use any manifold, along about 98 or 99, there is only one port for the coolant temp sensors. Previous to that, there are two holes. (and two sensors...)
