Wow, ill have to look up the thread cause I ask mechanic and they said is cost $350 to change, but I've never heard of a basket just sliding out

Don't have to drop either. Just the oil pan, and loosen up the main caps a bit. Comes right out. (gotta remove the rear main.... good opportunity to change the oil pump....)
