Default airfilter ticking ,coolant, plenum

I have a k&n cold air kit on my 5.9L. Today I had it idling while I checked my fluids and I could here a ticking coming from the motor. Nothing loud like valve tick but a tick lol you could hear it clearest coming through the air filter. Any ideas on that ?

I still have a small coolant drip in my driveway. It collects where the transmission meets the engine and drips down. I assume freeze plug and I can't find the drip anywhere else. Where should I look specifically before I rip off these transmission?

My truck always smokes a lil before reaching proper temperature it is oil because I'm always topping off the oil. I cleaned my throttlebody today and looked in the intake. It didn't look that bad I didn't see any pooling there may have been a ful on the bottom but hard to tell. Anywhere else oil could be escaping.?9

Its not a headgasket I've checked

Could be either PCV valve, or injectors ticking.

Clean off the engine REALLY well, drive it for a while, then start looking for various leaks. My timing cover was leaking, and the coolant would wick along the oil pan, and then drip off at the back, looking like a rear freeze plug was leaking.... so, verify where they are coming from before you fix something that ain't broke.

It might be the PCV valve. Just poke it with a stethoscope to confirm.

Remove the inspection cover and look up there with a bright flashlight. If you're really, really crafty you might get an inspection mirror up there.

Through the valve stem seals and valve guides seems likely. Try doing a compression test to rule out rings.
