Default New to the Fourms, Complete engine rebuild

Hello i am new to the fourms and figured i would share my DODGE with you all. It is a 1996 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 SLT Lamire Sport package. Last winter I did a total engine overhaul (right down to the block) at approx. 110,500mi and im on a fairly new trans. Owned the truck since new and have a custom exhaust on it. Also purchased the matching raven topper shortly after the truck so keep things safe during the hunting/ice fishing seasons, otherwise i usually run with it off. Just this last fall/winter i did a complete suspension/steering makeover.(shocks, all bushings, tie rods and ends, all arms, wheel hub, and other misc. steering and suspension work) I also at the same time put new tires on it. Truck is running extremely well and hope you all enjoy the pictures!
Sorry don't have a recent pic on my computer of the truck yet with the new tires/suspension work done, so last photo is before all of the suspension/tires and also sorry that the truck is not so clean.

The head was pulled off to rebuild it and check everything/clean it good before it went back in the truck. I purchased most of my parts through my local O'rielly store, but i did use advanced auto as well. Yes I did paint my block black because when i cleaned it up i saw that it was originally black. Feel free to ask anymore questions. (A rebuild book was a good investment as well)

For gaskets definatly go for the felpro, they are by far the best in my opinion, and most are reusable with felpro.

Yea I almost painted my motor and heads mopar orange, but decided to just stick with black at the last min. Im sure there is plenty places to find heads, but personally for a truck I like steel heads. Aluminum are nice but I always worry about easy warping if the motor was to get really hot. You prabably could find heats and order them from JEGS or SUMMIT. Do you have the 5.9L in your truck as well?
