Question Diagnose This Leak!

I do believe I am the proud owner of a cracked transfer case. Take a gander at these pics and see what you think. Also in the third picture and totally off the original topic, what should that electrical connector be connected too? I'm guessing it is related to the emission canister. All help is appreciated!

Edit: Sorry uploaded the pictures of the plenum. Working on the transfer case pics!

Sorry for the first post. Here are the pictures of the transfer case. Let me know what you think. Sorry Dodgeforum won't let me post more than 2 pics at a time.

The output shaft seal for the tranny or the input shaft seal on the TC might be bad.

Could be. I'll check that. Is that a chunk of the transfer case missing there or is that another weird vent like the dust plate on the front of the transmission?

The output shaft requires removing the transfer case and everything aft and then installing the new seal, correct? I'm guessing I'll have to pull the tranny to get to input shaft? It's to early for that kind of news!

yes and no. you have to pull the transfer case yes. but the trans doesnt have to come out. its the output shaft on the trans and the input shaft on the t-case. so all you have to do is pull the t-case and both seals will be right there.

DIY Section here I come! So it is actually two individual seals correct? Sorry for over analyzing, just trying to be thorough.

EDIT: Dodgeforum comes through again! Sheriff has posted a DIY for this job. Thanks Sheriff!
