Exclamation Hesitate.

I've tried searching and what not. But, I've got a 97 dodge 5.9 Magnum. I was wondering if someone could just give me some reasons maybe why the truck would hesitate when you accelerate. I'll press on the gas.. wait atleast 2 seconds, then it'll start giving it gas. The only thing I've done to the truck since I've got it was change the air filter and flushed the tranny and redid the filter. My catalytic converter is knocking, so maybe that's clogged and being one reason. The only other things I can think of is maybe Plenum, spark plugs, and that's about it. Just let me know your thoughts, what you've been through before. I know I'm not the only one!

Thanks!

if your cat is clogged, it isn't part of the reason, it IS the reason..

You basically listed off the things you need to do in general to get it to run better. Plugs, wires, new cat/O2 sensors, and especially the plenum fix
