oem brake controller setup

Well in my 96 i have the 40 amp and a 15 amp, the 15 is in the side panel fuze box and the 40 is in the pdb.

got the new 40amp fuse in and controller all wired up thanks guys , and just like the schematic showed the power is coming from the 40amp fuse to power up the controller

ended up pulling out the cigarette tray( since i dont smoke ) and making a mount so that the brake controller fit right in , alot easier to mess with the controller there vs down below the dash

should work out pretty sweet there and below it i may make another kickout for a trans temp gauge or even mount it right above the controller

That is a really nice spot. If I didnt use my ashtray as a coin bank, I'd do that. I have mine mounted on that little square piece below.

Is that a proportional brake controller?

yeah its the tekonsha primus iq with the 3 boost feature , i didnt have it powered in the pics
