Default Hard hitting/squeaking front end. Help.

Ok well first off, wanna thank you for looking..

Anyways i have some issues with my front end. Like when im driving down the interstate and hit some uneven pavement of sorts, i HIT it. Very uncomfortable.
I have new shocks in the front so i thought that would solve that problem. Nope.
So i go down and look at the front end and see a part ive never noticed before because it isnt there! Turns out i only have 1/2 of a bump-stop on my right side, nonexistant on the lefr. Could this be the cause of the problem?

The second part of this is the squeaaaking. I hit a pebble, it squeaks, turn the wheel, squeaks. I mean if i even look at it it squeaks lol
So im figuring that its the bushings, my question is do they sell reasonable priced bushing sets?
The ones ive found are in the 200 range, seems a little steep but idk.

Along with this, how do you know if a control arm is bad, or ball joint ect ect is bad? And if i were to buy say a new control arm, would it come with a new bushing? And if i were to buy new parts, is autozone or advanced bad places to get parts? i hear you guys always raggin on them lol.

Sorry its so long but this has been driving me crazy for about 2-3 months now and ive never dealt with the front end short of replacing shocks.

Thanks for the help in advance.

I buy most of my parts through O'rielly and advanced auto. You should be able to buy your control arms and bushings there. I purchased top of the line monroe shocks that would fit mine and they are GREAT! Not as spendy as I thought they would be either. You could prabably do it yourself, but doing the shocks is a pretty big B****...it takes some special tools too. O yea and alot of torching cussing and patience...lol...good luck!

Get the front end very safely suspended in the air, and have a helper wiggle the steering wheel, the tires, etc. while you crawl around listening to pinpoint the source. It's a lot cheaper that way.

well i did that in a way i just turned the wheel back and forth. I know i need lower control arm bushings i just figured if im taking it apart might as well do all of them or replace bad parts and what not, which is why i was asking how do you tell if you got a bad control arm ect..

Also do you think it might be the bumpstops?
