just replaced pinion bearings in my 98 1500. found broken beveled washers in clutch pack.
Dealer told me they dont sell for 9.25,have to buy whole carrier for 700.00.Substituted shims
for washers,so far250 miles still working. anybody else have this problem?

 

Yep, I called West Coast Differentials. Got a new clutch pac for 57.00 shipped, great people will help and give advice on any problem.Never call the dealership all they want is money$$$$$$$.

 

thanks for the advise,I think im going to be tearing it back apart eventualy.
