hey guys, this was my dads truck, he recently passed away and my brother started the truck this morning, drove it about 1/4 mi. and it stalled. it won't start unless he gives it alot of gas and even then it stalls after 7 or 8 sec.. Any ideas on if this could be something simple? the power steering pump was just replaced a month ago and then the serpentine belt was replaced a few days ago. i don't think its related but wanted to give full disclosure. is it possible it's a fuse ? my brother is useless with anything remotely mechanical and i'm driving there to look. any insight would be greatly appreciated. haven't even told my mother yet, way too much on her plate already.
thanks,
Howard -- hwyllie
Swap the fuel pump relay in the PDC with the wiper relay. See if that improves its attitude any. If that doesn't help, do the same for the ASD relay. Take it from there.
Welcome to the site. I will move this thread to the second generation Ram section,

i own a ram 2500, 6.7 cumminns, 320 hp, diesel, 4x4. it's a very special vehicle: when is raining never run!! i purchased it brand new by the crysler dealer in angola and coming back from windhoek to luanda, the ram stops in lubango and never started again! at 11.900 miles (after a pseudo-reparation by the dealer, crushed the direction terminal (deadly), no recall campaign was done by the dealer. need help! the reparations by the dealer never stops and was invoiced. this vehicle was more time in the workshop then on the road! i paid a lot of money to repair this car but it still have problems. maybe somebody of dodge company reading this comments can help?
