ok i have 1995 ram 2500 4x4. its the 8800lb version. i am wondering what gear ratio i have front and rear and if someone could explain what ratios are better for what and how they work

 

To find your ratio you can Request a build sheet (link available in faq section.) Check under your hood for a build sticker if you have one, or call dodge and look up your vin. There are also sometimes tags on a diff bolt. The ratio might be stamped on there as well.
