Default question bout 99 dodge ram 2500

Had a question about a dodge ram 2500. I bought a 99 dodge ram 2500 4x4. It has a 6in lift with 36 in super swamppers on it. My question is wandering if anyone knew what I would have to do to mount a plow on this truck. I have all the fisher parts but didn't know what I had to where it is lifted. Any help would be great thank you.

I would assume that the plow would mount just the same as without the lift. You may have to make some adjustments to the chain, or whathaveyou, that the hydraulics use to actually pick it up..... I REALLY don't think spacing the frame mounting for the plow down further would be a good idea........ that's just askin' for trouble.

Nah, spacing the mounts down would give them a LOT of leverage on the mounting bolts...... Considering that it is what bears the brunt of the force when pushing large amounts of snow, I could see them snapping off/ripping out of the frame, and you running over your plow. I don't think you would see much humor in that.
