Default 01 1500 Dashboard Swap

My dashboard is severally crack and looks like crap. I am going to replace but would like some advice first. 1) What is a good place to go to find new dashboards (online or offline)? 2) What other Dodge models can I use? 3) How do I keep my new dashboard from cracking in the future and keeping the interior looking better?

Any thoughts on the matter would be great

98-01 1500's and 98-02 2500 & 3500's are the same as your dash. I've never personally checked but I've heard the aftermarket replacements are pricey.

Geno's price isn't that bad considering it's a pretty quality part thats UV coated.

LMC Truck offers a cover that installs over the existing dash. Its cheaper than Geno's. BUT, it doesn't solve the problem. IMO it comes down to what you want to spend. When I get around to redoing the dash on Hard Headed, I will spend the extra money.

Those are just covers for 130 bucks. Not replacements.

They may sell covers but they also sell the dash replacement. I bought one from them and its a full replacement so I know what I'm talking about
