There is a DIY in the FAQ section.

You can also download the FSM from the FAQ section .

The service manual is pretty damn spot on. You can download the 2001 manual in the FAQ section.

My dad and I pulled out our dash in a day. Its as simple anyone with a brain can do it, just time consuming.

while your that far in, might as well dynamat the inside of the fire wall.

also isnt their and evaporator core or something behind the dash that usually goes out the same time as the heater core?
might as well do it all at one time

yeah, the Repair Manual will get you thru, your First time doing it will be VERY time consuming. when you are inside the Box, definite check the A/C evaporator core. And check all Blend doors, if one of them feels loose and flimsy, replace it.
My advice is Double Check and Triple check everything is back in place b4 u put the Box and Dash back together. I forgot an Air Duct AFTER i put EVERYTHING together once, it was a fun experience...

There is a really nice, thick sheet of insulation with a rubber type covering. No Dynamat needed. The doors, floor, roof, and back wall are what need it.

Yes, take apart the HVAC box, clean it, and reinstall with a new heater core and evaporator core. Do it or regret it.
