95 ram 1500 reg cab... when at idle my volts are around 15... but when i hit window switch every thing dims (volts stay up) when i was in reverse my girlfriend was messing with window and backup lights were flashing pretty bad.. any ideas like what to suspect.. i was thinking a ground but have no idea where its located??? no biggie tho just if its easy enough id fix it..

 

First thing I would do is have advance check your battery and alternator. Does running anything else cause this? Like if you turn the ac/heater fan on hi?

 

battery should have 12v and when the alternator is charging, it pushes out 14.5 so most likely your seeing it chargin, is any else plugged in or anything that might drain the battery a little?
