Default leveling kit, HIDs.. off topic shaking?

Finally ordered my 2" leveling kit and going to get some HIDs..

does anyone have a picture of a dodge with nothing but a 2" leveling kit on it for a 2wd? im just curious to see what it's going to look like.. also how far out of alignment will it put me?

HIDs: i can't decide how i want to do this... i talked to a guy at a local custom shop and he said not to do both low and high? he said when you turn from your lows to your highs, the high takes a few seconds to turn on because of "warmth" or something? anyone have more info on this? also what "k" should i get? ive been looking at the 10000k..

this is off topic, but when i drive down the road, when i get to 65mph, the truck starts to shake a little, but it'll stop when i get to 70? anyone know what this is?

for the hids, ive got a pair of hids off of amazon for 35$ hi/lo 12k work great i have never had a problem with the high beams not turning on, and they cam with 3 yr warrenty on the converter box, and 1 yr on the bulbs them self. And as for the shaking go and have your tires re balanced, i had the same problem and it fixed the prob, might not be the same situation as you but a good start.

I got 8k heads and fogs and love them! No need for high beams aren't necessary. You can find all kinds of deals online for H.I.D.'s Customelements.com is legit and its my buddies company

Leveling up or down, and hids start with just the low beams and if you decide to get the high beams you can order them later, and all hids have a warmup time takes a couple seconds, dont know if that would stop me from gettin them for high beams

Here is a thread to look at for a leveling kit with raising the front(1.5" though)

HIDs need to be done properly. HIDs in the stock headlamp assemblies will blind people and are technically illegal. If they are so bright you don't need high beams, that should be your first clue.

You need a headlamp with some kind of shield, like some of the newer models have, with a proper beam cutoff, to even begin to do it properly. Even better would be projectors. Thats number one.

Number two, the most you want for visibility is 6000k. 5000k-ish or so is best. Anything above those, you actually lose visibility (due to the fact that our eyes see more with white or yellow light, not blue or above), and its just for looks. It may look like you can see further with bluer light, but its just a trick of the eyes.

I hate to bust some people's bubbles here, but there you are.

My dad has a set of low/high hid in his truck 5000K and they flip up to high fine. I have a set of 10000k low and I like his better than mine not because they are alot brighter I just like the looks of his better

the leveling kit is already ordered and putting it on thursday, as for the HIDs i think i'm goin to order some 10000k or 12000k.. not so much for "seeing better" but for looks.. they will be brighter than my projectors now, and they will look better. i like the bluer lights alot.. but no matter which one i get it will increase visibility.. and yes it's an aftermarket headlight assembly with the halo and projector.

My truck has 3" spring spacers (only gave me about 2.5) but I do have 3" blocks on the back.
