I just bought a used set of amber roof lights. How do I wire them so they come on when I put on headlights?

take a look above your headliner, harness may already be there.

 

If the harness isn't there, just find a wire behind the dash that only has power when the lights are one, and tap into it. There are several that are on seperate circuits (see your fuse blocks for the different circuits), so adding the load of the roof lights to one of the lesser used circuits should not overwhelm it.
