Yup. Basically, its a steering box brace. Takes a lot of the stress off the sector shaft, and the bottom bearings. You box lasts longer. If your box is already sloppy, it won't help.

I know a dude who has one on a '94 or '95 (I can't recall which year it is).. it's lifted about 12" and he runs 38's sometimes, 44's other..

He swears by the thing, and wanted to put one on mine before we realized it wouldn't work on my year model..

Now how much better it makes it, and how much of that is in his head could be two different things, but, again, he swears by it..

There actually is a fair bit of flex at the point the brace addresses..... when you add bigger tires, heavier steering stablizers, etc, into the mix, you put more stress on the steering box, and its mounts. So, the brace really isn't such a bad idea, if you run big tires.....

I think there are videos to be had on YouTube, that show steering flex due to the box moving around...... doesn't do wonders for your frame either, just ask anyone that owns a mid 80's or older chevy.
