need a little help
does anyone know if a 2000 durango tranfercase will work in a 2001 ram 1500
i have a 2001 ram 1500 and it wont move, it shifts and im almost positive its not the transmission i think its the transfercase.i was in 4x4 due to the snow and noticed some clunking i pulled into the store and it wouldnt go in reverse i drove it home but i think only my front shaft was moving the truck it felt like i was dragging a tank, and the shifter is stuck in 4 high. any suggestions on what this could be would be greatly appreciated. if i remember correctly the durangos arent the same....i could be wrong
