I have the steering column pod, and I really like it. Most people who don't know think it is factory. You really can't tell that it didn't come that way without close inspection. It does slightly block the lower left of the speedometer and the 4x4 light, but all I need to do is tilt my head slightly to see either of those if i am interested. Honestly it is really not a big deal at all, and I got used to how it in no time at all. I went this route because I put a grab handle on my a-pillar instead of a gauge pod, so I needed another alternative.

What you see blocked in this pic is pretty much exactly how it looks from a drivers perspective. If you are a really short person, it might block more I suppose. I'm 5'10", and this is what it looks like to me.
This was taken back when I had my trans temp in it:

Here is what it looks like with my tach installed in it (obviously not drivers perspective in this pic):

Ya I know. That's why I had to get an aftermarket tach - some factory gauge clusters came with the big fuel gauge instead of a factory tach.

HAHAHA you can say that again! what persuaded the good folks at chrysler to eliminate the tach and affix a REALLY BIG fuel gauge in its place?

who cares about a tach anyways, i mean its ONLY the MOST important gauge on the dash??

I never understood why some had the tach, and some didn't At first, I thought it was only the manual trans trucks that had the tach, and auto's had my cluster style. I've now seen plenty of auto's that had a tach too though. Why they came out with the style my truck has is beyond me.
