Default extension housing seal

i replaced my extesnsion housing seal about 1 year ago. the replacement seal had the rubber boot and looked exactly like the old one.

advance can not seem to find one with the boot, will the one without the rubber boot work as well?

Yea, the boot is more or less a dust/dirt cover.

Well maybe the tail shaft bushing is loose or a TC saver is needed. Should last more than a year for sure.
