How do i take it apart? Is there a special tool or something?

Yes , Fuel/Transmission line removal tool .

Where would i buy that? Would a parts store like Carquest be able to get one for me?

Autozone sells a cheap plastic set for a couple bucks.

Carquest , Napa , Canadian Tire they all have them . I used one from a cheap plastic set and it was the light blue one .....3/8" I think .
