Where is the egr valve?

Default Where is the egr valve?

Title says it, I am looking into a spare kegger for modding and need to know for sure where the egr port is.

In the first pic is the oblong plate bolted with the two bolts on the left side the egr port?

Its on the back left. That plate is where the EGR valve would be.

If you are modding a keg, just get one without EGR and if your truck has it, delete it.

Awesome, thanks for the help. So my truck would still run ok if I took out the egr valve?

If you delete it correctly. I think.... You should ask dodgeram07, I think he deleted his.

He has a 97. Shouldn't have EGR anyway.

Mine EGR is deleted on my '94. Occasionally the check engine light will come on during long drives and will be code 32 which is EGR. Otherwise there is no effect.

You should not have an EGR I don't have it on my 96.
