No. Factory thermostat is 195, it should be around that.

How is the coolant level?

I have a small coolant leak around the neck on the engine.

Well fix it then, and flush system while it's apart, and see if it runs a little cooler.

My truck runs about the same temp. aprox. 205-210. been that way since I bought it. backflushed cooling system, new temp sensor, thermastat (195)deg. still stays the same. I assumed the gauge was just off a little

Mine runs straight up on 200 going down the road...while sitting it will get to like 205 for about 40 or so seconds while sitting at a red light. It's always done that though...

Mine ran around 210 then I put a gallon of water in it and now its back to around 180-190.

Seems a tad high would make sure it is full with no air pockets.

Yup, definitely not normal guys.

Before my electric fans or 180 thermostat, with a wobbly clutch fan, I'd get to 200, absolute max, on a hot summer day with the A/C on full blast.
