Longer Shocks for starters. you would be much better off with a complete kit such as this one .

thats what i was looking at something around 5-6 inches fabtech has 6" but they are around 1200$+ i dont really want to dish out 3-4k to lift my truck but i would like to have around 10-13 inches of lift. can i add 3" blocks if i do the 5" kit? so i can possibly run the 5" suspension, 3" blocks, and 3" body lift?

go with complete kit... once you lift it you can throw bigger tires on and it will seem bigger

Depending on the kit you get depends on how the back will be lifted, cheap way you'll just get blocks, more expensive way you get add a leafs, most expensive way is leaf springs. If you shop around you can piece a kit together pretty cheap. 13" is ALOT of lift, even with a 3" body you're talking about 10" of suspension. That's alot of coin. You're gonna need custom long arms, driveshafts, probably brake lines, and all kinds if stuff that is very pricey. Then with that much lift you're looking at needing a 42" tire or so to look right. If you have a 1500 you'll probably break something just bolting them on lol. Depending on how you use the truck you could get by with a 5" suspension 3" body on some 37". That's my personal favorite look for these trucks. I pieced my kit together on my truck I could prolly dig up some prices if you wanted.
