Default Purpose of a 2 inch leveling kit

I saw they make a 2 inch leveling kit that is for the front end when I was looking up lift kits and I have no idea what they are for other than supposedly leveling the truck.

To level it and give more clearance for a larger tire

Leveling the truck. That's it. From the factory, when unloaded, the rear sits higher than the front. A leveling kit is just a pair of spacers that raise the front x amount.

aaah... I take it that is why the 35 inch tires rub in the front because it doesnt have that.

35's might still rub slightly.Where it still rubs depends on what backspacing the wheels have.
