Not looking forward to it??? Where is your sense of adventure?????

XRF for balljoints. Might consider some poly bushings for the control arms. Rumor has it they transmit more vibration from the road to the steering though...... so, that one is on you. As for stock? Don't know. Get something with a good warranty..... (lifetime if they are available....)

Edit: If you have the cash, replace what is sloppy.

Basiclly its a bolt that goes through the control arm and on the bottom side theres a cup that holds the bumpstop in. I get a pic tomorrow if you want

I got all the parts for my front end when I did it 2 years ago from Rock auto.
Dont remember for sure what brand i got, but I believe it was Raybestos.
The pitman arm was the fun one to replace.
The nut that holds it to the steering box is torqued to 180ft lbs, if i remember correctly.
I used 6ft aluminuim pipe wrench to break nut loose.
Make sure you have cash left for front end alignment afterwards.
Some ball joints maybe tack welded, mine were not.
They can be fun to press in and out too.

Would you say they are good quality parts? I think ima go with the duralast ball joints cause i kinda already bought them plus they are lifetime soo..

But yea i got the press, all the tools after 2 hours, go to jack it up and the jack ive had for many many years wont lift. Sigh

Re-do tomorrow.
Thanks to all of you, youve been very helpful.

Do NOT use Value craft ball joints! Those things are nothing but a hassle. I assure you they will break again, and you will be back under there doing it all over again. My Dad (against my wishes) used them in a few of his different vehicles since they were cheap, and I tell you, they all were trashed in 6 months. XRF or Moog (even though, I think Moog is probably just paying for the name brand.) would be the way to go.
