will a tranny from a 96 360 4x4 work in a 97 318?

Default will a tranny from a 96 360 4x4 work in a 97 318?
just trying to figure out if its a direct swap to take the 4x4 trany from a 1996 dodge ram with a 360 and put it in a 1997 with the 318.
any wireing or computer changes needed ?

I believe they are the same, but I'm not 100% sure.
