I am running 3923's as well. Was warm here today and I tried it a little. No spark knock on 89 tune with 87 gas.

Gas is funny- if you can get by with running a hotter tune on lower gas, shoot, go for it. I'd be careful though, and carry the tuner with you in the case you get a batch that's a little under the posted octane.

Hemifever runs his tunes pretty close to the edge, which means he's advanced the timing.. If you're running the hotter tunes on lesser gas your going way close to getting the dreaded ping.

I run the 91 tune on 93 gas for best mileage/performance compromise. Its working out pretty good for me. Don't be afraid to experiment with every option- you may find something that works really well for you that way, like I did.

i have 87 91 and 93 tune, and the other ones just dont compair too the 93 lol i know 93 burns faster wish i could get 87 gas and run 93 .. i could prob get away with it if i had bigger gears because of less strain on the motor for ping. i dunno the mods i have and the lead foot i am , i know ill never have good gas milage and summer is about here and having windows down and my exhaust maes for even worse milage haha

ya i do all mine is 87.. and i do wut you do slow into throttle then slam it.. mine will break loose but stay straight and leave faint marks going down the road but they are light. so its all good as long as shes still moving and aint going sideways! lol my 93 tune i try and stay away from i was getting bad gas millage! mostly cause i cant keep my foot out of it.. with all that unleashed power its very hard! to not wana hit it or drive it like you stole it.. haha.
