Was this something that just developed, or something that has been there and now you are curious?

Well I know that I have an exhaust leak and part of my manifold gasket rusted off, and thank you for letting me know about the assembly, I changed the filter last night when it was dark. So you think my injectors may be bad?

Despite me currently having a rear main, front crank, and oil pan leak, no the oil level is perfect, I check it every 2 or 3 days.

This truck has had an oil change every 3k miles (according to previous owner) and he seemed pretty honest but you never know, but I make sure the oil is at the proper level all the time.

well it kinda sounded like a lifter tick but i mean i only heard it thru a video so not sure exactly where it is even coming from... did you put air box back on the right way yet?? still noise??

If you have an old garden hose laying around cut about 2ft off put one end up to you ear and while engine is running poke other end around to try to locate the sound.. since you have exhaust leak..

Yea I put the air hat back on the right way now that it's daylight out haha but the sound is still there.

I am taking it to my mech (one that I personally know and trust) on April 18th and he's going to replace the exhaust manifold gaskets for me, I'm hoping I don't have a fracture in the actual manifold but I guess I'll have to wait and find out, but I will try what you said to try and pinpoint an actual spot.

When you say "lifter tick" what exactly is that and is it bad news for my engine? : (
