does anyone have a line on a bestop42660 underseat storage?

Guess they quit makin em,and cant find on on the mighty ebay.Have exhausted all my resources,just figured I would throw it out to you guys.I did find the factory tool tray out of an 01 ram at the pick a part.I would have to make brackets to mount it{or buy the backseat too}.Is it as nice as the bestop?Thanks for help

You don't need the back seat, just the hing and mounting bracket off the back seat. I put the underseat storage out of an '01 SLT into my truck. Remove your back seat, remove the hing, install the one from the other truck that has the mounting bracket for the storage tray, and then put it all together. Pretty easy.

The hard part about that is finding a truck with the tray. I've been looking for a while with no luck.

went ahead and got the tray but they wont let me take brackets without buying whole seat.Will have to wait until the move the truck to the crusher lot before i can swipe brackets.I guess the tray is a rare find,but my rear huskyliner will have to be cut out so I can use it.Looks great,but man I still want those brackets.

I've seen them at the junkyard, and was an idiot to not get it. The brackets look pretty easy to make. Just bend a piece of steel, drill some holes, and sandwich the bracket between the seat, and the seat bracket on the floor.

Ya, you could probably fab up something that would work. Having the hinges are nice because it is just a quick swap, but since you don't, just make something yourself.
