Default Pictures!

I had to rotate the release handles on my back seat to get this to fit... but I think it turned out pretty good for my first fiberglass/MDF box.

That looks really good... Last nigh I started making one but I'm only using one sub and I'm just winging it.

That one is cool but pricey, I know I've seen one that replaces the center front seat with a 12"box. I have two-10"s in a downfire, under the back seat.

I thought I'd reply to this one considering it is something I know ALOT about! (As opposed to everything else, which I would be a NOOB!)

JL Audio makes a couple of great boxes, loaded with subs, for the supercab. One box is a dual 10" for under the back seat. The other is a single 12" for the middle front. Either of which... with the right amplifier... STROKE! They are high performance and thus expensive. Also worth it.

For a more generic option, check out R&T boxes for a dual 10" box for under the back seat. It is front firing and ported. Drawback = VERY SHALLOW sub mounting. You have to use basic subs: JL W0 or W1, Kicker COMPS, whatever. Advantage = CHEAP and CUSTOM FIT.

If you have really big ones, you could attempt the custom box that I am getting ready to build... future thread to come?

Also, if anyone is interested... I'm sure I could come up with some good template boxes to sell...

Default subwoofer box

Hi , i know this thread is real old. Just one question i have a 1995 dodge ram with extended cab and looking to put sub under rear seat limited space. Just wondering what are those black brackets that are on both sides of the cab next to the sub box. Are these factory or diy to keep seat up higher to fit the box? This is newer truck so did not know if the way the seat is help up changed over the years. Or is it to hold the box in place. I saw another vehicle with this but was not attached to a box?
this is question for eric cartman or anyone familiar with the vehicle year or what he did thanks for any help.

He hasn't been here since: Last Activity: 07-18-2012 11:25 PM And he made a custom box so it is probably what he is using to keep the sub in place. I have JL audio stealth box under the rear seat (they don't make them anymore) that fit's well. There are a number of other boxes available now.
